Amanda Grosserode for State Representative
|
Prior to graduation at Wayne State, Amanda and her husband, Chad, moved to Lenexa, Kansas for Chad’s new job in Overland Park. Amanda completed her student teaching in the Blue Valley School District. Following student teaching, she taught 5th grade in the Shawnee Mission School District until the birth of her two children. Beginning in February 2009, Amanda led the outcry mobilized in the tea party movement in Johnson County against big government, the escalating national debt, and the government’s encroaching involvement in the free market. She has advocated for fiscal responsibility in government, a return to free market principles in government’s relationship with the private sector, and lowering the tax burden on both individuals and corporations. Faced with consistent misrepresentation not just from Congressman Dennis Moore, but also by her State Representative, on these issues and many others, Amanda was compelled to increase her service at the state level by filing to run against Democrat Representative, Gene Rardin. Amanda and her husband, Chad, have lived in Lenexa for the last ten years. They are the proud parents of sons, Grant and Logan. They are members of Legacy Christian Church. |
